Ubisoft Revealed Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Stats One Month Since Its Launch

It has now been over a month since the release of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced—one of the year’s most financially successful projects and certainly a major boost for Ubisoft. The remake has become the highest-rated game in the franchise over the past 13 years, and sales in the first two weeks totaled 3.5 million copies, exceeding the company’s internal targets.

On this note, Ubisoft decided to compile some interesting statistics on social media regarding player activity in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The studio revealed some data on its X page about what players did most often in the remake. For instance, it was revealed that over 28 million animals were petted—with cats topping the list. Furthermore, the total distance travelled aboard Edward Kenway’s ship—the Jackdaw—amounts to over 40 million square kilometers, and players’ favorite weapons and outfits were also revealed. The developers continue to release updates for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, aimed at fixing bugs and improving optimization. There were also rumors earlier that the game might receive a story DLC centered on Edward Kenway’s new adventures, but for now this is nothing more than speculation.

The next mainline entry, Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe, announced back in 2022, will take players to the Holy Roman Empire. Its release date remains unknown, but according to insider NateTheHate, Ubisoft is aiming for the second half of next year. A reveal could come as soon as Gamescom 2026 this month, especially with rumors of an unveiling circulating for a while now.

As for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, the game is now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
