Asha Sharma Has Seen The Elder Scrolls VI and Says The Game Looks “Incredible”

Even though it's been more than eight years since The Elder Scrolls VI was announced, Bethesda Game Studios still hasn't shared any details, including a release date. That said, according to the latest reports, the game apparently looks incredible—and that's coming straight from Xbox head Asha Sharma.

Sharma shared her thoughts on X, writing that she had gotten to watch a live walkthrough of The Elder Scrolls VI, hinting the game will be on an incredible scale with an even more impressive story than expected. You can check out the Xbox head's comments below:

It's worth noting Sharma left something out of her post, and so did Bethesda in its reply. Meanwhile, the studio thanked the Xbox head in its response.

This is not the first time The Elder Scrolls VI has drawn praise. Back in June, Xbox Chief Content Officer Matt Booty claimed he had also seen the game during a visit to Bethesda's office and, in his words, the game looks amazing. The developers, for their part, have confirmed TES VI remains their top priority right now, though the release date and other official details are still unknown. Jason Schreier has also stated the game is not expected to release within the next two years.

Despite the lack of official news, rumors about The Elder Scrolls VI have surfaced before. It's been suggested the game will be set in Hammerfell and High Rock, with more than 10 major cities to explore and sea voyages—similar to the spaceship travel in Starfield—playing a key role in gameplay.

The Elder Scrolls VI is confirmed to release on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The official release date remains unknown.
