Refugium Games Announced Prices and Shared New Details for Agefield High: Rock the School

Agefield High: Rock the School, the new project from Refugium Games many consider a spiritual successor to Bully—Rockstar Games’ classic from nearly 20 years ago—launches next week. The developers keep sharing new details, and this time they've revealed regional pricing along with what players should and shouldn't expect from the game.

In a new Steam blog post, Refugium Games revealed Agefield High: Rock the School has hit 300,000 wishlists, which is a pretty impressive milestone. They also noted the game is being built by a small team on a limited budget, so players shouldn't expect a large-scale AAA project similar to the abovementioned Bully. Still, the developers claimed that they have poured their heart, effort, and talent into making it.

Refugium Games also confirmed the main story runs around 10 hours. Beyond that, players can expect a fully handcrafted open world packed with details to explore. The game also draws inspiration from early 2000s teen movies, with immature humor, plenty of nods to that era's pop culture, and more.

Speaking of Agefield High: Rock the School price, Refugium Games confirmed the game will cost $30, with a 10% discount available during the first 7 days after launch. The studio also shared regional pricing details, which you can check out below:

Based on the developers' own comments, players should go in understanding Agefield High: Rock the School is not Bully 2 and doesn't match the scale of the original Rockstar Games title. However, it can still evoke real nostalgia for the 2000s and offer a similar vibe to Bully—letting you attend classes as a student trying to become the coolest kid in school.

Agefield High: Rock the School is confirmed to release on August 12 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
