Analyst Claims GTA 6 Should Cost $200 as Its “Last Great Game Before AI”

Last month, Rockstar Games officially confirmed the opening of GTA 6 pre-orders, revealing that the Standard Edition is priced at $80, while the Ultimate Edition costs $100. Some fans were surprised by the relatively high price, but according to one analyst, the GTA 6 price is actually quite low and should be more than twice as high.

During a conversation with TBPN, analyst Ben Thompson of Stratechery stated that GTA 6 should be priced at $200, as Rockstar Games' latest project is considered "the last great game" made to AAA standards without extensive use of AI. This claim caused quite a stir among fans and gamers, but the analyst's opinion remains unshaken.
