Assassin’s Creed Codename Invictus Possible Logo Revealed
The release of a new, sort of, Assassin's Creed game is just around the corner, as Black Flag Resynced, the remake of the 2013 original, will release on July 9. The game will have a lot of new features—not only enhanced graphics using the Anvil engine used in recent titles, but also new gameplay activities that could make it feel like a genuinely new entry in the franchise. Anyway, when it comes to genuinely new titles in the series, Ubisoft is currently working on at least two projects: Codename Hexe and Codename Invictus.
We still don't know much about these two projects, especially Assassin's Creed Codename Invictus. According to insider Tom Henderson, it's a multiplayer game similar to Fall Guys in terms of gameplay, where players select characters from the Assassin's Creed universe and compete against each other in locations from the games. The developers behind it are the creators of For Honor. There was also a screenshot from an early version of the game, but Ubisoft confirmed it was partially AI-generated. Since then, we haven't heard much about Codename Invictus; however, in a now-deleted Reddit post, a potential logo for the game was shared, which you can check out below:

As you can see, the word "Invictus" features several well-known Assassin's Creed characters, including Ezio Auditore, Connor Kenway, Shay Cormac, and others, which seemingly supports Tom Henderson's earlier statements. Despite the leak, Ubisoft has yet to reveal the official logo for Codename Invictus or share any official details. According to Henderson, Assassin's Creed Codename Invictus has been repeatedly delayed within Ubisoft's internal schedule, and if development continues to be problematic, the project could potentially be canceled.
As for Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe, the game was announced back in 2022 and positioned as the next mainline title. Set in the 16th-century Holy Roman Empire, it will reportedly feature a female protagonist named Anika, who is said to be a descendant of Claudia Auditore, Ezio's sister. The release date is also unknown, but according to reliable Ubisoft insider Rogue, the studio is looking to release the game next June —though it could also be postponed due to complicated development.
