Former Blizzard CEO Founds New Company

Mike Morheim, who led Blizzard studio from its inception until 2019, has created a new company. It was called Dreamhaven and will do what Mike does best - making games.

Dreamhaven will become the parent studio of two other firms, Moonshot and Secret Door. Both of these studios will be developing new IPs, and the team already includes Mike's former Blizzard colleagues.

Moonshot will be led by former Blizzard Executive Producer Jason Chayes, former StarCraft II and Heroes of the Storm Game Director Dustin Browder, and former Hearthstone Creative Director Ben Thompson.

Secret Door will be chaired by former Hearthstone Executive Producer Chris Sigati, former Hearthstone Game Director Eric Dodds and former Blizzard CTO and Game Director Alan Dadari.
