This is the second time Larian Studios has brought some not-so-positive news. The studio has decided to postpone Baldur's Gate III until October 6th.
The primary reason for this decision was the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the remote work schedule, the company cannot fully implement all the ideas. According to the authors, they don't mind having a rough start, but the foundation of the game should remain fun.
Larian doesn't want to release a project with constant crashes to the desktop. To do this, the authors use the "World Tester" - an artificial intelligence that is created to find all hidden bugs and shortcomings. Baldur's Gate III will appear on Steam and GOG, and will also drop into Google Stadia.
