Pearl Abyss Released Another Update for Crimson Desert—Patch Notes Version 1.11.00
It has been exactly one week since Crimson Desert released its latest update, and already the official game website has posted information about a new patch—Patch Notes 1.11.00. While this update isn’t major, it does include several important features.
The highlight of Patch Notes Version 1.11.00, the latest update for Crimson Desert, is the new feature allowing players to register up to 100 pets. In addition, the developers have introduced a function that lets you retrieve previously lost rare gear from trade shops, as well as a distinct icon to identify baby wyverns. You can check out the main updates from the developers' statement below:
Fellow Greymanes, Here are the fixes and improvements that have been added this patch.
This patch adds new challenges that let you register more pets, along with various bug fixes and stability improvements.
New Additions:
Added new challenges that allow you to register more pets. You can now register up to 100 pets. However, you can only summon up to 50 pets at camp even if you have more than 50 pets registered.
Added a dedicated map icon for baby wyverns.
Major Improvements:
Shopkeepers will begin collecting and reselling lost rare equipment. Rare equipment obtained from treasure chests, quests, and other methods can now be purchased from shops if lost. These items will be sold at a higher price than their original value. Lost equipment will become available in shops within 7 days of being lost.
Improved the pinball minigame and lowered its difficulty.
Improved pets so that their names are kept when they grow.
Improved mounts so that they are no longer summoned in dangerous zones.
Fixed various localization errors and improved localization quality across all languages.
This week, Pearl Abyss also announced that total sales of Crimson Desert across all platforms have surpassed 6 million copies —an incredible achievement for the studio and a great motivation to continue releasing free content for the game. Earlier, they had also revealed that they are already working on DLC for Crimson Desert and shared a roadmap outlining their plans for the coming months.
We should also keep in mind that Pearl Abyss is also working on their next title, DokeV, announced back in 2019. It's an open-world action-adventure video game featuring Dokebi—Korean folklore creatures that gain strength from people’s dreams and collide together on their adventures. The release date is currently unknown.
Crimson Desert and Patch Notes Version 1.11.00 are now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
