GSC Game World Revealed New Trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope

Not long ago, there was a leak revealing that GSC Game World is preparing not only to release the upcoming story DLC for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, titled Cost of Hope, but also to roll out a new update for the game—Patch 2.0. It seems the developers have decided to lift the veil a bit and have released a new trailer for the upcoming expansion.

The new trailer for Cost of Hope directly focuses on the storyline of the upcoming DLC. It reminds players of the ongoing conflict between the two factions in the Exclusion Zone—Duty and Freedom—highlighting the veteran Zulu, and introduces a new heroine, Mavka. Alongside the main character, Skif, the heroes will explore an entirely new and mysterious city described as "the root of all evil in the Zone." Despite releasing a new trailer, the developers have not yet announced an exact release date for Cost of Hope. However, they have confirmed that the launch is still planned for this summer, with no delays expected.
