Aniimo Set to Launch in Q3 2026 on Mobile, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5

Pawprint Studio has confirmed that its upcoming open-world creature-catching RPG Aniimo will launch in Q3 2026 on mobile, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

First revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase, Aniimo has already gone through multiple testing phases across 2025 and early 2026. The next major step will be a global closed beta test this summer, available on both mobile and PC.

Explore the World of Idyll

Aniimo takes players to Idyll, a vibrant open world filled with mysterious creatures known as Aniimo. The upcoming global beta will give more players a chance to experience the game after earlier technical and beta tests were limited to selected regions.

One of the key additions in the next test is the Island of Peace, a new water-themed region that players will be able to explore for the first time.

The game’s central mechanic is called twining, which allows players to connect with their Aniimo and experience the world through that creature’s abilities. This system plays a major role in exploration, movement, and combat, giving each Aniimo its own practical purpose beyond simple collection.

New Creatures, Customization, and Social Features

The latest gameplay trailer introduced several new Aniimo, including Bubbeep, Popapus, Mophling, and Sausite. Additional forms such as Budsquire and Thornblade were also shown, suggesting a wide variety of creatures to discover and train.

Aniimo will also include lifestyle and customization features. Players will be able to decorate and expand their Homeland with Aniimo-themed items, accessories, and new buildings, including shops such as a clothing store and blind box store.

The game also places emphasis on Aniimo society, allowing players to observe their daily behaviors, interactions, and habits within the world.

PvP, Co-Op Bosses, and Trading

Aniimo will feature several multiplayer-focused activities. One of the major PvP modes is Diamond Egg Heist, where up to six teams of three Pathfinders compete to become the first group to twine with the diamond egg.

For co-op players, the game will include large boss encounters such as Bubbask and Coraliz, encouraging teamwork and coordinated strategies.

Creature trading will also be available, allowing players to exchange Aniimo with each other and expand their collections through social interaction.

Pre-Registration and Beta Sign-Ups

Aniimo is scheduled to launch in Q3 2026 across mobile, PC, and consoles. Players can currently pre-register through Google Play, while sign-ups for the global closed beta are available through the game’s official website.

To apply, players need to open the Closed Beta Sign-Up page and complete the required survey. Selected participants are expected to receive access details through the email address provided during registration.
