Square Enix Announced Final Fantasy VII Revelation at Summer Game Fest
As confirmed by the host of the Summer Game Fest, Geoff Keighley, the last game at the Summer Game Fest was a single-player narrative game —and it is not Half-Life 3, despite rumors. Nevertheless, Square Enix finally revealed the final part of the Final Fantasy VII remakes and announced the release date.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation, this is the name of the third part of the remake of the original game, will once again show how Cloud Strife and his team fight against Sephiroth. If everything is more or less clear from the plot’s point of view, the studio also announced that, unlike the previous remakes, which were timed exclusives, Final Fantasy VII Revelation will be released simultaneously on all announced platforms - PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 next spring. You can check out the reveal trailer of Final Fantasy VII Revelation below:
And although the exact release date of the game has not yet been revealed, as many had guessed, it will happen in 2027 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the original Final Fantasy VII.
You can also check out everything that was revealed and announced at Summer Game Fest.
