Insider Revealed New God of War Game Will Be Announced at State of Play

In just a few days, another State of Play from PlayStation will take place - and fans are wondering which games will be announced this time. One of the games that has long been rumored is a new God of War installment dedicated to Faye, and it seems that there is not much left to wait for before the official announcement.

Insider Alir, who previously published information about upcoming PlayStation exclusives, responded to a tweet from one of the users that a 'blockbuster-level' game will be shown at the upcoming State of Play. He confirmed that this directly concerns the new God of War about Faye, as you can check out below:

This is not the first time there has been talk about a Faye God of War title announcement at State of Play. Previously, another insider mentioned this, who leaked the date of Sony's February presentation, which turned out to be true.

As for the game itself, it is rumored to be a prequel to God of War (2018) featuring Faye as the protagonist and focusing on East Asian mythology. At the same time, Kratos is also expected to make a cameo appearance in the game. Santa Monica Studio is believed to be working on another God of War installment—possibly the next mainline title set in Egypt.
