LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Already Sold More Than 1 Million Copies

A week ago, the release of the new game from TT Games studio - LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight - took place, one of the most large-scale projects about a character from DC Comics. Predictably, the game received high reviews from players and the gaming press, and although there has not yet been an official announcement on the game's sales, the analytical center Alinea Analytics provided some impressive data.

A new agency report reveals that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has already sold approximately 1.2 million copies across all platforms. At the same time, about half of this share (612 thousand) belongs to the PlayStation 5. They also reported that the revenue from sales currently amounts to approximately 83 million dollars, and the new TT Games title is played by about 600,000 users daily (all platforms), which is a fairly respectable figure.

It's no wonder that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is so popular. After all, Batman is one of the most famous superheroes, and the game includes perhaps all the main moments associated with the character in movies and video games. Thanks to the open world, a lot of additional content, and a huge number of characters, even after completing the main story campaign, there is plenty to do in the game.

Speaking of characters, a rumored list of characters for the DLC of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight recently surfaced, which includes many members of Task Force X - Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Deathstroke, King Shark, Killer Croc, and many others. In addition, it is expected that as part of the upcoming DLC, the Joker and Harley Quinn will receive a lot of new outfits.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. The release date for Nintendo Switch 2 currently remains unknown.
