New Leak Provides Insight Into a Possible GTA 6 Map

Despite the lack of new official details about GTA 6—even following Take-Two Interactive’s latest earnings call, which took place this week—various rumors about the most anticipated game of 2026 continue to surface. This time, a leak offers a possible glimpse at the game’s map.

Reddit users are actively discussing a new image taken from 4chan forums, which is allegedly a real map of Grand Theft Auto VI. What has particularly caught their attention is that it largely matches a map created by the fan community. However, there are also those who believe this is yet another fake created using AI. A new alleged GTA VI map leak showed up on 4chan. Shows an island map, without the Florida panhandle like some have speculated.

The map lines up quite well with the community mapping project. For all we know this could just be an AI render based on it, or a fan-made reconstruction. Take it with a massive grain of salt, as usual.

At this point, Rockstar Games has not revealed any official details about the GTA 6 map, but it is expected to be the largest and most detailed in the franchise’s history. Among the regions that will be featured in the game and confirmed in the trailers are:

• Leonida Keys - a tropical island inspired by the real-life Florida Keys.
• Grassrivers - a flooded wetland region in the south of Leonida.
• Port Gellhorn—Vice City’s port, similar to the one in Florida and inspired by Panama City.
• Ambrosia - it’s a huge industrial city in Leonida, which is famous for its sugar refinery complexes and biker gang called Final Chapters MC.
• Mount Kalaga National Park - it’s a national park that consists of forests, rivers, canyons, etc.

According to the latest information from Take-Two Interactive boss Strauss Zelnick, the marketing of GTA 6 is around June 21, when the summer officially starts. In that period of time, we can expect the release of a new trailer and the start of pre-orders.
