Take-Two Is Forecasting Around $8 Billion Dollars Next Fiscal Year Thanks to GTA 6

Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, held another earnings call, where the company confirmed their potential revenue in the next fiscal year, as well as confirmed that the release of GTA 6, the most anticipated video game of 2026, will happen on November 19.

Despite players hopes about the revealing of a new Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, pre-orders opening, or a price reveal, none of these happened, at least for now. Instead, Take-Two confirmed that the company is expecting to receive around $8.0 to $8.2 billion in the next fiscal year—firstly, thanks to the release of Grand Theft Auto VI—which was once again confirmed to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The statement from Take-Two’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, as well as a brief summary about the company’s latest earnings call, you can check out below:

"Our Fiscal 2026 performance was exceptional and exceeded our initial expectations at every label. We believe Fiscal 2027 will establish new record levels of operating performance driven by the November 19th launch of Grand Theft Auto VI, along with strong execution across our portfolio. We expect to sustain this higher level of scale, generate strong cash flows, and deliver long-term shareholder value as we release our robust development pipeline, continue to optimize our live services and capitalize on new business opportunities.”

The marketing campaign of GTA 6 is about to start soon, this summer, but the fans are still wondering when they can expect the release of a new trailer for the game, as well as pre-orders and price reveals. As we know, recently PlayStation confirmed the next State of Play show is scheduled for June 2. Before that, gaming insider DetectiveSeeds stated that Sony has a partnership with Take-Two/Rockstar Games that allows them to show Grand Theft Auto VI in such presentations, like State of Play. It’s still unlikely that the game will be featured there, but it would be a great step to promote the title.

For now, you can also find out everything we know about GTA 6 so far - the story, gameplay, map, open world, platforms, and more.
