Life is Strange Upcoming TV Show Casts Four New Actors for Important Roles
Life is Strange franchise might be done after the release of Life is Strange: Reunion, which was released this March and finished the story of Max Caulfield and Chloe Price. Although Square Enix and Deck Nine haven’t revealed their plans about further game series development yet, Amazon, in turn, working on the TV series adaptation of the original Life is Strange title.
Recently, it was reported that the shooting process of Life is Strange TV series will start this June in Vancouver, Canada, and last until October 16, with six episodes in a debut season. A new report from Variety revealed that Amazon has added four new actors to the upcoming show.
Tom Cullen will play Mark Jefferson—the famous teacher at Blackwell Academy.
Leisha Hailey will play Joyce Price, the mother of Chloe.
Raul Castillo will play David Madsen, Chloe’s stepfather.
Owen Teague will portray Frank Bowers, a local drug dealer.

There four new actors have now joined the cast of Life is Strange that already include Tatum Grace Hopkins (Max Caulfield) and Maisy Stella (Chloe Price). Karyn Kusama is also confirmed to direct the first two episodes, who recently described Life is Strange as “fantastic adaptation of the game”. Lauren Wolkstein (The Strange Ones) is rumored to be listed as the second director, as revealed via AdnanRiaz9.
Amazon’s Life is Strange is confirmed to adapt the events of the original Life is Strange video game released in 2015 by DON’T NOD. The show's synopsis reveals it follows Max—a photography student who discovers she can rewind time while saving the life of her childhood best friend, Chloe. As she struggles to understand this new skill, the pair investigate the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student, uncovering a dark side to their town that will ultimately force them to make an impossible life-or-death choice that will impact them forever. The release date of the Life is Strange show remains unknown.
As for Life is Strange game series, Deck Nine and Square Enix have yet to confirm whether Life is Strange: Reunion was the last game in the franchise, as was speculated. The fans remain hopeful that the game series will get more titles, with one concept featuring Safi and Diamond, who were looking for characters from previous Life is Strange installments, teased by Life is Strange: Welcome to Caledon University book.
