New Leak Reveals First Image from Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe

Ubisoft is not ready to share the new information about Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe—the next mainline game in the franchise, set in the 16th-century Holy Roman Empire, which was announced by the studio in 2022. Despite the lack of official information, rumors about the game regularly surface on the internet.

Over the past couple of weeks, we have learned that after Jean Guedson took over as creative director of Codename Hexe, the game lost its magical elements, and it is now considered that it will be more realistic and grounded. The latest leak from Ubisoft scooper Rogue also reveals the return of Ezio Auditore in the game, as its protagonist named Anika is a descendant of Claudia Auditore, Ezio’s sister. Moreover, Ubisoft is reportedly planning to release Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe in summer 2027, but a delay to the holiday season that year is possible, as the game might have some complicated development due to recent layoffs.

We have another leak of Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, which comes from another Ubisoft insider, xj0nathan, who recently revealed the first image of another upcoming game series title, Assassin’s Creed Code Invictus —a multiplayer game from For Honor developers. As before, the scooper showed the first image of Codename Hexe (original and edited) and also shared some details about the game. By the way, the edited image gives a better look at the game. Codename Hexe is not the only Assassin’s Creed game regarding which there have been recent leaks. In particular, IGN Australia confirmed that the embargo on Assassin's Creed Black Flag will lift next week, on May 21, and we will soon see the first reviews of the game.
