Supermassive Games Revealed System Requirements for PC version of Directive 8020

The latest installment of Supermassive Games’ The Dark Pictures—Directive 8020 releases next week, on May 12, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Unlike previous titles in the franchise, the game takes place not on Earth but in space, specifically, on the ship Cassiopeia and the planet Tau Ceti f, which marks the first sci-fi/space-horror in the history of the game series.

Two days before its release, Supermassive Games shared the system requirements for the PC version of Directive 8020 via its social media. Unfortunately, they didn’t mention some information about resolutions, quality settings, upscaling, or FPS, as mentioned by user, but it’s likely 'Low' quality settings and 1080p/30 FPS for 'Minimum' and 'High' quality settings and 1440p/60 FPS for 'Recommended' You can check out the system requirements for Directive 8020 below:

Another feature that makes Directive 8020 different from previous The Dark Pictures games—Turning Points—is that it allows players to rewind for a important moment or decision, similar to what we saw in this year’s Life is Strange: Reunion and Max Caulfield’s ability to rewind time. The game's plot reveals that the ship Cassiopeia crashes on the Tau Ceti f planet, where the heroes will have to face aliens capable of changing their appearance. Directive 8020’s lead role was played by Lashana Lynch, known for the films Captain Marvel and No Time to Die; she plays an astronaut named Brianna Young.
