New GTA 6 Trailer Might Be Released On May 14 – Based On Bizarre Astrological Theory

The number of speculations about the release of the new GTA 6 trailer this month seems to be growing every day. Rockstar Games is apparently preparing to launch the game's marketing campaign this summer, and Take-Two, their parent company, is set to hold another sales financial report on May 21, and this gives fans hope for news about the most anticipated game of 2026.

We have seen a version that the trailer may be released on the 15th - the day when an artist named Ehrin Duijf will release his new track called Welcome to Vice City. After his posts drew attention from fans, he confirmed that his upcoming song is in no way related to GTA 6.

Then, Rockstar Games themselves could be teasing the release of a new Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, scheduled for May 24 – three days after the presentation of Take-Two Interactive's financial report. The studio posted a hint on their social media, using the numbers on a car's license plate and a suspicious inscription "May" on it, and by adding up all the numbers, players suggested that the new trailer or something else would be shown on May 24.

It seems that a new theory from a Reddit user named JalapenoPoppers24 is even crazier, as it is related to astrology and the positions of planets in the solar system. The user spent 3 months studying astrological patterns associated with every trailer released by Rockstar Games since 2007. Thus, he suggested that the most likely date for a new GTA 6 trailer to be released is May 14. More detailed information from Reddit user you can check out below:

I spent three months charting the planetary positions for every Rockstar trailer drop since 2007. Trailer 3 is dropping Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 11AM EDT. I’ll explain.

I pulled the exact UTC timestamp of all 26 confirmed Rockstar reveal events from GTA IV onward (every trailer, every gameplay video, every launch trailer) and ran the geocentric ecliptic longitudes for all 9 classical bodies at each drop. Spreadsheet got pretty out of hand.

Pluto was in Sagittarius for 24 of the 26 drops. Neptune has been in Pisces for 19 of them. The Sun was in Libra, Scorpio, or Taurus 58% of the time when random would give you 25%. The Mercury-Sun conjunction (within 8°) showed up on 8 of 26 drops which is a third of the sample for a configuration that occurs roughly 11% of the time in any given year. The most interesting outer-planet pattern is the Saturn-Pluto separation collapse. From RDR2 Trailer 1 in 2016 through the RDR2 PC Launch Trailer in 2019, every single drop happened with Saturn and Pluto within 24° of each other, and most within 15°, leading into the exact Saturn-Pluto conjunction in January 2020. They were running their entire marketing campaign inside that aspect. For GTA 6, both Trailer 1 (Dec 2023) and Trailer 2 (May 2025) dropped with Saturn in Pisces and Mars-Saturn in tight square. The current Saturn position (Aries, transitioning) and the upcoming Sun-Mercury conjunction in mid-Taurus narrows the next signature window down hard.

I scored every day from May 1 through August 31, 2026 against the historical Rockstar fingerprint (Sun sign weight, Mercury sign weight, Saturn sign weight, Sun-Mercury conjunction, Mars-Saturn square, Thursday bonus). The single highest-scoring date in the entire 123-day window is Thursday, May 14, 2026, 12 out of 16 points. Sun in Taurus 23°, Mercury conjunct Sun within 4°, Saturn in Aries, Venus in Leo, Thursday (the day of 12 of 26 historical drops). It’s also exactly one week and one day after the GTA 6 Trailer 2 anniversary, AND it falls on the same calendar day (the 14th) as GTA V Trailer 2 which Rockstar pushed from Nov 2 to Nov 14 in 2012. The 14 isn’t a coincidence. Setting a calendar reminder. If T3 drops on May 14 at 11AM EDT I want to be remembered.

This is really a crazy theory, but it shows how eagerly fans are waiting for new information about GTA 6. According to the latest data, Rockstar Games may indeed reveal new details about the game in the next few days, as PlayStation 4 users have begun receiving notifications about transitioning to the next-generation console in connection with the release of GTA 6. Also, almost simultaneously, a mysterious announcement appeared from Game Informer about the showing of a "big" game next week—this very source, once, long ago, first presented the preview of GTA 5.
