IO Interactive Revealed Updated System Requirements for 007 First Light
A little less than three weeks remain until the launch of a new game from the developers of Hitman, IO Interactive, dedicated to James Bond - 007 First Light. The game will not be a direct iteration of the films about the special agent but will instead reveal the origin story of the hero.
As the release date approaches, the developers are revealing more and more details about the upcoming project, and a new post on X concerns the updated system requirements of the game for PC. The developers also confirmed that the PC version of 007 First Light will include such features as Uncapped Framerate, NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation & Super Resolution, In-Depth Customization Options, and Path Tracing & DLSS Ray Reconstruction, which will become available this summer. In the latest reports, IO Interactive confirmed that the duration of 007 First Game will last around 20 hours, and the game possibly can receive a sequel— if fans love this idea.
As revealed via early reviews, 007 First Light is capable of impressing with its combat system and the ability to complete missions in different ways, and some publications even call the game the best Bond game and one of the main contenders for Game of the Year.
007 First Light is releasing on May 27 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, and later in 2026 it will be available on Nintendo Switch 2.
