Path to Doomsday: The Avengers Is Now Available in Marvel Rivals

Last month NetEase announced the new update for Marvel Rivals— The Path of Doomsday —timed to coincide with the release of the film Avengers: Doomsday this December and recapping events from previous films about Earth’s mightiest heroes.

The game will recreate scenes from the four Avengers films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, bringing them to life in PvP mode. The first such event is already available in the game, and it’s based on the 2012 title. The developers went all out and even released the famous intro showcasing The Big 6, but using characters from the game.

In Marvel Rivals new mode, Path to Doomsday: The Avengers, you can play as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, or Hawkeye to fight against the God of Mischief, Loki. You can also check out more information about Marvel Rivals below:

As for Avengers: Doomsday, the movie will premiere on December 18, and Doctor Doom in the MCU will be played by Robert Downey Jr., who previously played Iron Man/Tony Stark in The Infinity Saga. The movie is expected to become the MCU’s biggest crossover yet, as it features the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the original X-Men.

Path to Doomsday: The Avengers is now available in Marvel Rivals across all platforms—PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X/S.
