Capcom’s Pragmata Has High Rating on Steam, Close to Best Resident Evil Games
This month is full of high-profile releases, with Pragmana—the new IP developed by Capcom—probably the biggest one. The game finally released on April 17 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. According to the first reviews by gaming media, the studio delivered another one of the best games of 2026 so far.
Critics have praised the game's compelling storyline, the excellent chemistry between the main characters, and its sophisticated combat system, and it seems that players have also taken a liking to Capcom's new title. According to SteamDB, the rating of Pragmata on Steam is currently 93% - the same high as the studio’s recent Resident Evil installment. For comparison, Resident Evil 4: Remake has a 96% rating, Resident Evil 2: Remake – 95%, Resident Evil: Village and this year’s Resident Evil Requiem – 94%, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard – 93%. As of this writing, Pragmata also has a 96.9% positive rating on Steam.
Pragmata is the latest Capcom installment, a sci-fi action-adventure game set in a near-future dystopian world on a lunar research station. You play as an android named Diana and an astronaut named Hugh, and together they must find a way out of this lunar station. Diana has the ability to hack the enemy’s security system, while Hugh is a specialist in firearms and has a jetpack.
The game is now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
