Insider Reveals New Exciting Details of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced
The fans cannot wait for the official reveal of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced—the remake of 2013’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, which has already been shown to the media, and Ubisoft is reportedly planning to make a full announcement next week.
Recently, it was revealed that Black Flag Resynced is set to release on July 9, and, despite previous rumors, the game will not include RPG elements from the latest Assassin’s Creed installment. During the latest Insider Gaming Weekly podcast, a reliable gaming insider, Tom Henderson, who has repeatedly shared insider information about the game, revealed new details about it.
Firstly, according to him, Ubisoft will reveal the game on April 23—the same day when the embargo is lifted. Then, he confirms that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a full remake, not just a remaster, as it’s using the same engine Ubisoft is using for the new Assassin’s Creed installment.
He is also confirming recent reports that it will feature new content. Specifically, scooper reveals Edward Kenway might get a pet on your ship. The storyline has also received an expansion, as we will see new quests and even the backstory of the main character. He didn’t reveal many details about gameplay, but it is reported that Ubisoft has significantly revamped the exploration of the underwater world, which was quite limited in the original game.
On paper, a remake of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag certainly sounds intriguing, and I'd like to believe that Ubisoft has truly created a high-quality product. Ubisoft is also actively working on Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe—the next mainline game in the franchise, set during the 16th-century Witch Hunts of Germany—multiplayer Assassin’s Creed Codename Invictus, and mobile Assassin’s Creed Jade. Netflix is also producing a TV series based on the game series, set in Ancient Rome, with filming now underway.
