Liquid Swords Announced Roadmap 2026 for Their Latest Game, Samson

After releasing on April 8, Samson, the latest installment from Liquid Swords, has already received multiple updates announced by developers, and now the studio has announced what the fans should expect in the coming months.

Besides revealing the dates of future updates for Samson, Liquid Swords also confirmed the game will be released on consoles this autumn, which was previously teased by the studio’s boss, Christofer Sundberg. “So far, we've gone live with two updates since release. We have plenty of plans to expand on Samson. We wanted to give you a closer look at what's coming in the next few months.

In less than a week, on Wednesday, April 22, we’ll be releasing another, quite meaty, update. This one focuses on:

• Combat improvements
• New car variants
• Keyboard vehicle tuning updates
• Adjustments to damage for players, NPCs, and vehicles
• Walk button for keyboard
• Time trial refinements
• Performance optimizations
• General bug fixes.

We’ll share full details alongside the changelog at release!

We also read your feedback continuously, both in the Steam forums and our community Discord. Your input plays a key role in shaping every update.

The following week, on Wednesday, April 29, we’ll release our fourth update, followed by a fifth the week after. We’re still finalizing the details for those, but as always, we’ll share more information as we get closer. Looking ahead, we’re especially excited about two upcoming content updates: The first one is set to launch in mid May, and will be focused on fresh content for combat. The second one comes mid June, and is vehicle focused. Finally, we know many of you have been asking about a console release. While we’re not ready to share a specific date yet, we can confirm that Samson is planned to launch on consoles this fall.
