Deck Nine Released Life is Strange: Reunion Patch Notes for PC and Consoles

Deck Nine has announced a new patch coming to Life is Strange: Reunion, released last month on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, which finished the story of Max Caulfield and Chloe Price.

The announcement comes from X social media of Life is Strange, where it was revealed some issues in the game were fixed, specifically related to its gameplay on both PC and consoles. You can check out more information about Life is Strange: Reunion Patch Notes below:

"Hi everyone! We’ve got some patch notes for you today!

Don’t forget, if you’re having technical issues on any platform, you can notify our support team here.

General:

  • Fixed keyboard layout detection on launch of the game. Defaults for keybindings will not better suit non-qwerty layouts.
  • Fixed various graphical issues during rewind sequences.
  • Fixed various vibration issues in several scenes.
  • Fixed ambient noise in several locations.
  • Some NPCs finally got their drinks from Amanda in the Snapping Turtle (she’s busy, alrdight?!)
  • Improved stability overall.
  • Fixed a crash when replaying a scene several time in the same session.
  • Fixed an occasional crush with some NVIDIA GPUs (series 30 and 40).
  • Fixed many small bugs.

PC:

  • Added a warning when we detect some Windows security settings prevent game saves to be written properly.
  • Fixed an issue where using Alt+Tab in a specific scenario may cause the title to freeze.
  • Improved Steam Deck default settings.
  • Fixed shadow flickering for local hair shadows with lower quality settings.
  • Made it clearer in the settings that the game does support upscaling (Unreal Engine’s TSR).

Console:

  • Fixed an issue in ‘Mabon’ where the game brightness was incorrect.
  • Fixed an issue in ‘Mabon’ where a Zen moment may remain on screen after using skip gameplay.
  • Fixed an issue in ‘Time Dojo’ where Max may be transported to a different starting sport after continuing from the main menu.
  • XSX only – Optimized performance mode."

Although Deck Nine and Square Enix haven't revealed their plans about Life is Strange game series future, as there are speculations that Reunion might be the last game in the franchise, the recently released book—Life is Strange: Welcome to Caledon University—teases that the next game might be dedicated to Safi and Diamond as they search for characters from previous Life is Strange installments.

Life is Strange: Reunion is now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
