Insomniac Games Teasing Marvel’s Wolverine News Coming Soon

Marvel’s Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games, remains one of the most anticipated projects of 2026. Unlike the studio’s previous titles based on the Marvel universe and focused on Spider-Man, this new game is about to be more brutal and bloodier and designed with linear levels in mind rather than a massive open world.

The developers have repeatedly said that they want to show more footage of Marvel’s Wolverine before pre-orders will be available, as well as that this will be revealed this spring. Half of spring has already passed, but Insomniac Games still hasn’t shared anything. The only thing is their latest post on X social media dedicated to the fact that there are exactly 5 months left until the game. The post was also added with the words that we will find more information about the game later, as you can check out below:

Besides Marvel’s Wolverine, Insomniac Games is working on Marvel’s Venom—the spin-off to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and the third installment of Peter Parker’s adventure. Recently, Ben Jordan, who is the voice actor and motion capture actor for Peter Parker/Spider-Man, has teased that he was doing mocap for some of Insomniac Games titles. In fact, it could be any of these projects—he will probably appear in Marvel’s Venom or could get a cameo in Marvel’s Wolverine, as the games are shared in the same universe.

Marvel’s Wolverine will release on September 15 exclusively on PlayStation 5.
