Bloober Team Reportedly Developing Seven New Horror Video Games

Bloober Team studio has recommended itself as leading developers of high-quality horror games—previously known for the Layers of Fear gamer series—and also their recent projects, Cronos: The New Dawn and especially Silent Hill 2 Remake, have gained widespread popularity among gamers.

The studio is also confirmed to develop the remake of the original Silent Hill title and Layers of Fear 3, announced earlier this year. Moreover, according to the new report from GamesIndustry.biz, the studio is currently working on seven horror projects, including the aforementioned remakes of Silent Hill and Layers of Fear 3. Previously, it was rumored that Bloober Team was also developing a horror title for Nintendo’s platforms, as well as new IP after the success of 2025’s Cronos: The New Dawn.

The source is also adding that the studio has received some very solid appointments lately. For instance, Thaine Lyman, who worked as product director at Activision, has been appointed as Bloober Team’s head, while Katya Baukova and Michał Gembicki, who previously worked at CD Projekt RED as head of publishing and head of distribution, respectively, are now appointed as director of business development and head of publishing at the Polish gaming studio.

The upcoming confirmed projects from Bloober Team, Silent Hill Remake and Layers of Fear 3, still don’t have release dates.
