Battlefield 6 Season 3 Start Reportedly Revealed

The second season of Battlefield 6, titled Nightfall, is now underway, and it’s confirmed to be finished on May 12. However, Battlefield fans will not need to wait for long until the new season starts, as a new leak suggests it will happen on the same day.

According to the new leak posted on Reddit, the launch of the upcoming third season for Battlefield 6 is eyed for May 12, as Electronic Arts wants to support a regular update schedule for the game. The third season will reportedly mark the return of Golmud Railway map from Battlefield 4, Plaza (inspired by Battlefield 3’s Grand Bazaar), and the map titled Isolated. Also, it will feature 4 new weapons: bolt-action rifle L115A3, LMG RPK-74M, assault rifle M16A3, and SMG PP-19 VITYAZ, as well as new gadgets and game modes—Obliteration, Infiltration, and Alliances.

So far, this leak hasn’t been confirmed by Electronic Arts, so it should be taken with a grain of salt, and the final version of update potentially can differ from what we know at the moment.

Last month, Electronic Arts also announced layoffs at studios responsible for Battlefield game series. The following studios were mentioned: DICE, Criterion Games, Ripple Effect Studios, and Motive Studio.
