Roblox has officially announced a new subscription service called Roblox Plus, set to launch on April 30, 2026. Priced at $4.99 per month, the service introduces a range of perks aimed at both players and creators, including discounts, platform features, and new earning opportunities.

A New Subscription with Added Value

Roblox Plus is designed to enhance the overall experience for active users, particularly those who frequently spend Robux. Subscribers will gain access to several benefits, including:

• 10% discount on in-game items and avatar purchases, increasing to 20% after three months
• Free and unlimited access to private servers in supported games
• Ability to create and manage private server instances
• Zero-fee Robux transfers between players
• Access to trading, reselling, and publishing avatar items on the Marketplace
• A special profile badge indicating Plus membership

Optional bundles such as Plus 500, Plus 1000, and Plus 2000 will also be available, combining the subscription with monthly Robux allocations.

Benefits for Creators

Roblox Plus isn’t limited to players—it also introduces meaningful advantages for creators. Importantly, Roblox will cover the cost of player discounts, ensuring creators continue to earn the same revenue per item.

Additional creator benefits include:

• Up to 100 Robux when Plus subscribers spend time in paid private servers over a 30-day period
• Opportunities to earn up to 750 Robux per new subscriber through in-game promotion using a new API
• Increased purchase potential thanks to discounted items

Transition from Premium

With the launch of Roblox Plus, the platform will begin phasing out its existing Premium subscription. New sign-ups for Premium will no longer be available, and the 10% Robux purchase bonus will be discontinued.

However, current Premium members will:

• Retain their existing membership
• Receive a free one-month trial of Roblox Plus
• Continue to earn monthly Robux
• Maintain access to trading and marketplace features
