Forgotten Marvel Game Could Be Revealed This Summer

There are some games based on Marvel universe that are currently in development. One of the most anticipated is obviously Marvel’s Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games, but we can also mention Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, set to release this August, and Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, which still doesn’t have a release date after last year’s delay.

Some of you may have forgotten that at The Game Awards 2023 another game based on Marvel Universe was announced—Marvel's Blade. This title is developed by Arkane Lyon, the developers of Dishonored game series and Deathloop, published by Bethesda Softworks, and set in Paris. We haven’t seen the footage of Marvel’s Blade since its announcement, but according to Middle Aged Gamer Guy, we will finally see the gameplay of the game at Xbox Games Showcase show—this week it was confirmed to take place on June 7.

At this point, there is no official confirmation from Microsoft or Bethesda, so this report should be considered with a grain of salt. Last year, Dinga Bakaba, who is a co-creative director at Arkane Lyon, called Marvel’s Blade a “special” game. Hopefully, fans won’t be disappointed and Bakaba is right.
