CD Projekt RED Made an Announcement Related to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt—But It’s Not a New DLC
While the fans are waiting for CD Projekt RED to announce a new DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is heavily rumored to be in development, the gaming studio has decided to make an announcement related to the fan-favorite title on April Fools’ Day—but it’s not what we all expected.
CD Projekt RED announced a custom controller (kind of) titled R.O.A.C.H.—which is a reference to Geralt’s mount in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. According to the studio, R.O.A.C.H. is something that will help players to move through Continent funnily, as players can literally ride a gamepad. You can check out CD Projekt RED’s trailer related to the R.O.A.C.H. announcement below:
The studio decided not to sit this one out for April Fools' Day and wanted to treat the fans. Anyway, the long-awaited DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is real, and it’s not a joke, which was confirmed by reliable gaming insider NateTheHate last month. We also know this expansion is developed by Fool’s Theory, not CD Projekt RED directly, and is likely to set up events for the upcoming The Witcher 4.
The latest earnings call result of CD Projekt RED also teased the company is working on some “unannounced gaming projects,” and DLC to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt must be one of them.
