Fortnite Brings Back Endgame LTM with Thanos Gameplay

Fortnite is set to reintroduce one of its most iconic limited-time modes, as the Endgame LTM makes a return — giving players another chance to step into the role of Thanos.

A Fan-Favorite Mode Returns

During Chapter 1, Fortnite became known for experimenting with creative and crossover-driven game modes. Among the most memorable were Marvel-themed events like the Infinity Gauntlet LTM and later the Endgame mode, which featured a large-scale battle between the Avengers and Thanos’ forces.

In Endgame, players were split into two teams. The Avengers aimed to eliminate Thanos and his army while preventing them from respawning, while Thanos’ side worked to collect all Infinity Stones and wipe out the opposing team.

The mode stood out for its chaotic, team-based gameplay and quickly became a fan favorite before eventually being vaulted.

Release Date and Availability

The Endgame LTM will return alongside Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 8, though it won’t be available immediately at launch.

The mode is expected to run as a separate playlist rather than directly on the OG map.

What to Expect

While waiting for the mode’s return, players can explore other limited-time experiences such as Avengers Blitz, a faster-paced Battle Royale variant featuring Marvel-themed weapons and mechanics.

Once Endgame goes live, players will be able to take on different roles — including Avengers, Thanos, and Chitauri — and use exclusive weapons tied to the crossover.

Although the duration of the mode has not been confirmed, it is expected to be available for a limited time, encouraging players to jump in early.
