Sony Will Not Release Marvel’s Wolverine on PC Despite the Agreement
Sony has made an important decision this week: the company will officially stop releasing their titles on PC, as they did over the last 6 years. This report was confirmed by Bloomberg after initial rumors revealed by gaming insiders.
Despite Sony will continue to support PC platform with the online projects, like Marathon or Marvel Tokon, its doesn’t relate to the upcoming single-player projects, like Saros or Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Anyway, one of the fans has asked Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier on ResetEra about Marvel’s Wolverine – the upcoming title from Insomniac Games. Specifically, it’s about the agreement between Marvel and Sony, according to which, all the games related to X-Men must be released on PC. Schreier reacted to this, and you can check out his answer below:
"Sony Group Corp. no longer plans to release its big PlayStation 5 games on PC"

It looks like, even previous agreement between Sony and Marvel doesn’t count anymore, therefore Marvel’s Wolverine will not be released on PC. And that’s even despite latest Insomniac Games titles, firstly Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and then – Marvel Spider-Man 2 have been ported to PC.
As for Marvel’s Wolverine, the game launches on September 15 for PlayStation 5.
