Sony is Officially Moving Off From Releasing Their Exclusives on PC
A lot of recent reports have been about Sony and the company’s further strategy to release their exclusives on PC, as they did over the past few years. Unfortunately, these reports, provided by multiple insiders, has been frustrating for PC players, and another statement is making an ultimate decision.
Bloomberg has released a new report, which confirms Sony is no longer planning to release their exclusive titles on PC to make them PlayStation 5 exclusive titles. That means the upcoming games like Marvel’s Wolverine, Saros, or Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet will not be ported to PC. Perhaps the last PlayStation game that will come to PC is Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, which was confirmed at PlayStation’s State of Play last month. At the same time, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier confirms Sony will continue to release multiplayer titles on PC—like Marathon and Marvel Tokon.
Sony has released many of their titles on PC over the last 6 years, including the franchise of Horizon, Marvel’s Spider-Man, The Last of Us, God of War, and also some standalone titles like Detroit: Become Human, Returnal, Day's Gone, Ghost of Tsushima, etc. Speaking of the last, it's now unlikely the game's last year's sequel, Ghost of Yotei, will be launched on PC as its predessecor.
