After the words from Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, X social media users have asked gaming insider NateTheHate about Sony’s strategy about releasing the company’s titles on PC. He confirmed that the company is now looking to change it, although the games that are now in development could be released after all.

“They are shifting their PC release strategy. You'll be seeing fewer single player games arrive on PC. The decision to shift away from supporting PC was made last year. Naturally, some may still release (pending how far along the ports were) but it no longer appears to be a priority for Sony moving forward.”

It looks like Sony is again making a bet on the exclusivity of their projects rather than making them multiplatform and releasing them on PC. There are no words on which Sony games will be released on PC, but recently announced Death Stranding 2: On the Beach could be one of the last. X social media users predict it could be the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, last year’s Ghost of Yotei, as the original game was released on PC, or the upcoming action-adventure Saros. It’s still possible Marvel’s Wolverine could be released on PC one day, despite Jason Schreier’s comments, as Insomniac Games’ Marvel Spider-Man franchise got ported to PC.

What do you think of Sony’s strategy to release fewer single-player games on PC? Are you disappointed with that? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
