Mobile Legends Mid Season Cup 2026 Announced for Esports World Cup
After a successful 2025 esports season, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is preparing for one of its biggest international tournaments of the year. The Mobile Legends Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2026 has been officially confirmed to take place during the Esports World Cup (EWC) for the third consecutive year.
This edition of the tournament is expected to be the largest yet, featuring additional participating regions, an expanded competitive structure, and a massive $3.5 million prize pool. With new qualification pathways and a broader global presence, MSC 2026 aims to further strengthen MLBB’s international esports scene.
MSC 2026 Schedule and Format
MSC has become a major highlight of the Esports World Cup in recent years. The previous edition, MSC 2025, achieved impressive viewership numbers with more than 47 million hours watched, accounting for over 12% of the total viewership across all 25 esports titles featured at the event.

The MSC 2026 tournament is scheduled to run from July 22 to August 1. While the detailed format has not yet been revealed, organizers have confirmed that the event will include multiple competitive phases.
A $3 Million Prize Pool
A total of $3,000,000 will be distributed among participating teams. Since its launch in 2017, MSC has evolved dramatically. What originally began as a regional Southeast Asian event has grown into one of the most prestigious tournaments in MLBB esports.
The champion will take home the largest share of the prize pool, but the distribution ensures that every participating team receives a portion of the rewards.

More Teams and Expanded Regions
MSC 2026 will feature 26 teams, three more than the previous edition. The competition will be divided into two phases:
- Main Stage
- Wildcard Stage
According to MOONTON, this year’s Wildcard stage will be the largest in the tournament’s history. Notably, Western Europe will participate for the first time, expanding the global reach of MLBB esports.
The event will feature teams from multiple regions, including:
- Southeast Asia (SEA)
- Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
- Americas (AMER)
- Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA)
- East Asia (EA)
Additionally, India will join as a new main stage region, marking an important expansion into one of the largest gaming markets in South Asia.
MLBB Women’s Invitational Returns
Alongside MSC 2026, the MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI) will also return. The upcoming MWI 2026 Western Europe Qualifier will feature 16 teams, further expanding opportunities for women’s teams in the competitive MLBB scene.
The participating teams have not yet been announced, but more details are expected to be revealed soon.
With more teams, new regions, and a multi-million-dollar prize pool, MSC 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest events in Mobile Legends esports history.
