Life is Strange TV Series Casts Actresses For Max and Chloe Roles

Life is Strange TV show is confirmed to be in development for Amazon Prime Video. The series will adapt the events of the original Life is Strange video game, developed by Dontnod Entertainment and released in 2015. The project has now released a massive update, as the first members of the cast were announced.

According to Variety, Tatum Grace Hopkins (Meek) will portray the game series main character, Max Caulfield, while Maisy Stella (Poetic License, Spirit Riding Free) will play her bestie, Chloe Price. Also, the first poster of the upcoming show was presented. You can check it below:

As per the official show’s synopsis, Life is Strange will follow "Max—a photography student who discovers she can rewind time while saving the life of her childhood best friend, Chloe (Stella). As she struggles to understand this new skill, the pair investigate the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student, uncovering a dark side to their town that will ultimately force them to make an impossible life-or-death choice that will impact them forever.”

Charlie Covell (The End of the F***in World, Kaos) will serve as the showrunner, executive producer, and writer. The release date of Life is Strange show remains unknown.

It’s not the only video game adaptation that is being developed for Amazon Prime Video, as God of War show is currently in production. Ryan Hurst is confirmed to play Kratos, and Callum Vinson is playing his son, Atreus. The series will adapt God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok video games.

Life is Strange franchise is also getting a new video game releasing this month—Life is Strange: Reunion, which will end the story of Max Caulfield and Chloe Price. The release date is set for March 27 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
