Amazon’s God of War Show Casts Four New Actors

Amazon’s God of War TV series is now officially in production. Last week, we received a first look at upcoming Sony’s adaptation, with the reveal of Kratos (Ryan Hurst) and Atreus (Callum Vinson). Unfortunately, not all God of War enjoyed the design of Kratos; according to most of them, the first look at God of War series is looking much more like AI.

Maybe, Amazon will hear the players and will change the design of Kratos, like it was with a Sonic the Hedgehog movie back in 2020. For now, there is no reaction but the show has another cast update. Deadline shared a new report that four actors have joined God of War upcoming TV show – Louis Cunningham (Marie Antoinette), Ben Chapple (Good Cop Bad Cop), Evelyn Miller (Foundation), and Island Austin (Insidious 6).

Moreover, source is giving the details of their roles. Louis Cunningham will play Modi, the middle child of Thor and Sif. Ben Chapple is playing the eldest son of Thor and Sif, Magni, and Island Austin will play the youngest child of them, Thrud. At last, Evelyn Miller will portray Gna, who is the commander of Odin’s Valkyrie.

Besides Ryan Hurst (Kratos) and Callum Vinson (Atreus), Amazon’s God of War TV show also features Ed Skrein (Baldur), Olafur Darri Olafsson (Thor), Mandy Patinkin (Odin), Alastair Duncan (Mimir), Danny Woodburn (Brok), Jeff Gulka (Sindi), Teresa Parkers (Sif), and Max Parker (Heimdall).

The show is confirmed to adapt the events of God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok, with two seasons already planned. Frederick E.O. Toye (Shogun) is confirmed to direct the first two episodes of season one.

God of War TV series is now in production, with the release date remaining unknown.
