Insomniac Games Revealed the Release Date for Marvel’s Wolverine

After the months of rumors and speculations, Marvel’s Wolverine, the next title from Insomniac Games (Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2), finally gets its release date.

Previous reports suggested Marvel’s Wolverine will be released in September or October this year to avoid competition with Grand Theft Auto VI, which will be launched on November 19. Insomniac Games officially revealed on X social media that Marvel’s Wolverine will release on September 15 for PlayStation 5, as you can check below:

The game is only available to be added to a wishlist for now. A lot of players have expected Marvel’s Wolverine to appear at PlayStation’s State of Play on February 12, but on the eve, developers have revealed they will tell about the game more this spring —and confirmed they will miss this month’s State of Play. The next event is rumored to happen in May, so there we might expect to get some new information.

Although we don't know much about the story of Marvel's Wolverine, the game is confirmed to take place in the same universe as Insomniac's previous video games - Marvel's Spider-Man, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
