Starfield’s 2.0. Update Might be Coming Sooner Than We Expect

Over the last few weeks, there has been some news on Bethesda Game Studios 2023 space-setting RPG, Starfield. Specifically, the game is still being eyed for release on PlayStation 5, with April 17 shown as a possible release date via PPE’s report. However, Nintendo Switch 2 users may be disappointed, as insider Shinobi602 revealed this version of Starfield could never see the light of day.

Let’s not forget, Bethesda is also working on so-called Starfield 2.0—a massive update similar to CD Projekt RED’s expansion to Cyberpunk 2077 that should fix a lot of things and make the game better. Although Bethesda hasn’t spoken much yet, once again gaming insider Shinobi602 is giving some information. According to him, Starfield’s 2.0 update will be revealed next March, and he also addresses rumors of Starfield's release on PlayStation 5 in April. It’s clear the teaser PS5 version of Starfield will have the long-awaited 2.0 update. You can check the dialogue between the insider and one of the ResetEra users below:

“Starfield news on PS5 I’m assuming. Hoping to see what the next expansion is.

Since this keep coming up, that’s all next month.”

At this moment, Bethesda Game Studios hasn’t commented anything about Starfield’s release on PlayStation 5 and Starfield 2.0 update as well. So, this report still should be considered with a grain of salt.
