Starfield Might Be Cancelled For Nintendo Switch 2
While PlayStation 5 fans are expecting Starfield release that rumored to happen this spring, new report gives some disappointing update on the game’s launch on another platform.
During the conversations on ResetEra, gaming insider Shinobi602 was asked about the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Starfield, which was heavily rumored, as well as the version for PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, he revealed Nintendo Switch 2 port could have been delayed or even cancelled, as you can check his words below:
“That’s been pushed out. And might not even come out at all. They’re having problems with it, nothing to do with holidays or anything.”

At this moment, Bethesda Game Studios hasn’t given any comments on Starfield versions for both—PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch 2—but a potential announcement for the PlayStation platform could be happening tonight at the State of Play show. Starfield is also expected to receive a massive update called Starfield 2.0, which is expected to be announced soon, according to reports.
