The case of returning characters from previous installments has been a speculation for a while, and as we know, Chris Redfield and Ada Wong are not expected to appear in Requiem, but we may see Claire Redfield returning. The new trailer, released during PlayStation’s State of Play, may have just teased the return of another character related to Leon S. KennedySherry Birkin. Although we don’t see her face, the appearance, voice we can hear in the video, and hairstyle look familiar. You can see the trailer here.

Resident Evil Requiem New Trailer May Confirm Another Returning Character 1

Sherry Birkin previously appeared in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 6; she was directly involved in the incident of Raccoon City's destruction, as she was infected with the G-Virus but was treated with the vaccine. Sherry also calls Leon S. Kennedy her best friend; however, their relationship changed when Leon became an agent. Considering her connection to Leon and the past of Raccoon City, it makes sense she is returning for Resident Evil: Requiem.
