Guerrilla Will Continue to Work on Single-Player Titles After Horizon Hunters Gathering Announcement

Guerrilla Games has recently announced a new Horizon video game called Horizon Hunters Gathering—a co-op action adventure title where three different players unite to fight massive robotic animals.

Some fans have been concerned Guerrilla may delay the release of the new Horizon 3 or potential new IP single-player. However, during the latest interview with GamesRadar, the studio’s director, Jan-Bart Van Beek, revealed new single-player titles will be released in the future, as you can check below:

“I want to be very clear about one thing. We absolutely love making single-player games, and we’re going to keep making them. We also have this long-standing dream to try to do something different. Our own take on how you can explore the world of Horizon together as a team of machine hunters.”

Speaking of Horizon 3, after the announcement of Horizon Hunters Gathering, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier has confirmed Horizon 3 is in development at Guerrilla, though the release is “still a long way off the launch”.

Horizon Hunters Gathers will release on PC and PlayStation 5, with the release date remaining unknown.
