New God of War Video Game Could Be Revealed at State of Play
Ahead of upcoming State of Play event that is scheduled for February 12, there are a lot of speculations about which games could be announced. And one those games could be the new God of War, developed by Santa Monica Studio.
It is confirmed studios is working on a 2.5D God of War spin-off, but also on a mainline sequel, though, the details remain unknown – it could be set either in Egypt or Greece. Latest report from PlayStation insider TCMFGames states the next big God of War title will be set in Greece and could be already revealed at upcoming State of Play, as you can check below:
“Next PS5 God of War
- A new God of War Greek game is set to launch this year per reports;
- This is a prequel to the Greek God of War Saga;
- Takes place before Kratos becomes a God & rumored to feature Deimos;
- Could show up at the State of Play later this week;”
For now, Santa Monica Studio hasn’t shared any official details of potential new God of War game set in Greece, so this rumor should be considered with a grain of salt.
Except new God of War video games, Amazon is developing a God of War TV show starring Ryan Hurst as Kratos and recently casted Callum Vinson as Atreus.
