Tom Clancy’s The Division Producer Has Left Ubisoft to Join Electronic Arts
Recently, the executive producer of Tom Clancy’s The Division game series, Julian Gerighty, has teased the upcoming The Division 3 and made the fans excited. However, some unexpected move has just happened, as he announced his departure from Ubisoft.
GamesIndustry.biz reports Julian Gerighty is leaving Massive Entertainment studio after more than 27 years since he was working at Ubisoft, that owns Massive Entertainment, he wrote on X social media. He’s now set to join Electronic Arts’ Battlefield Studios. An original post from Gerighty you can check below:
“Agents!
Quick update from the Base Of Operations: It's time for me to hang up my go bag (keeping the watch) as I go on another grand adventure.
The Division future burns bright, and I can't wait for you to discover what the teams have been working on.
Long live The Division and Godspeed!”
At the same time, Ubisoft has released an official statement regarding Gerighty’s departure from the company and ensured the fans his exit will not have any impact on the future of Tom Clancy’s The Division franchise.

"Today, we want to share that Julian Gerighty, Executive Producer on the Tom Clancy’s The Division franchise is heading off to a new adventure at Battlefield Studios. While we’ll miss him, his mark will live on at Massive and we’ll continue to bring the world he’s been part of creating to our players for years to come.
Julian, your legacy is part of this studio and remember: once an Agent, always an Agent.
For our players, don’t worry, Agents. Our teams who built this world with Julian are still here, carrying it forward with an ambitious, unchanged commitment for the future with The Division 2, The Division 2: Survivors, The Division Resurgence and The Division 3."
Tom Clancy’s The Division 3 is confirmed to be in development but doesn’t have a release date yet. At the same time, the original The Division, released back in 2016, could receive a definitive edition soon, as the game’s stand was featured on the Japanese festival FPSDay.
