Ada Wong Will Not Appear In Resident Evil Requiem
During The Game Awards 2025, Capcom confirmed Leon S. Kennedy will return in the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem and will be one of two playable characters, alongside brand-new hero Grace Ashcroft.
Recent reports also suggested more Resident Evil characters from its lore will appear in the newest installment, and the game’s producer, Masato Kumazawa, confirmed that but clarified players “shouldn’t overexpect or hype it.” Capcom also announced Resident Evil Showcase will take place this week and published a teaser trailer for the upcoming event.

At the same time, gaming insider AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem, decided to ask on X social media what the red bullets featured in the Resident Evil Showcase could mean and immediately denied that Ada Wong, iconic Resident Evil, will return in Requiem.
“People thinking it's Ada: You're setting yourself up for disappointment. And I question why you think red bullets = Ada, Ada's never used red bullets before.”
At the same time, X social media users are confident these red bullets belong to Claire Redfield, who is currently not confirmed to appear in the game officially. Anyway, we will find it soon, when Resident Evil Requiem releases on February 29 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
