Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake Will Be Released Soon

Ubisoft is definitely planning 2026 to be, perhaps, their biggest year ever, as the studio marks its 40th anniversary and is expected to announce and release plenty of new and already confirmed video games.

It’s very likely the remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, and the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be the first to release; however, both projects still don't have release dates. With each day, the probability of getting new official information grows, as XCancel users have noticed Ubisoft recently once again updated the domains of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, as you can check in the images below:

The status of these domains has been changed between active and inactive multiple times, and it seems like Ubisoft is preparing to finally reveal something new.

According to previous reports from insider Tom Henderson, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake could be released this month, while Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is set to release before March 31.

UPDATE: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has received an ESRB-rating page with the game synopsis. Usually, the game receives ESRB-rating before the release. You can check the synopsis below:

"Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood, Partial Nudity, Sexual Themes, and Violence. This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a Persian prince on a quest to break a curse. From a third-person perspective, players traverse platform environments, sole puzzles, avoid traps (e.g., spike pits, wall-mounted blades and saws), and battle cursed soldiers and creatures made of sand. Players use swords and daggers to defeat enemies in melee-style combat. Battles are accompanied by sword clashing, cries of pain, blood-splatter and slow-motion effects. A 2D side-scrolling sequence (i.e., the original version of Prince of Persia) depicts blood pools when the prince is killed. During the course of the game, a female character's buttocks is briefly exposed; she and the prince are shown kissing and caressing each other in bed (implying sex), though camera angles obscure breasts and genitalia, as the camera fades to black."
