Naughty Dog Employees Are Working Overtime on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet

Shortly before The Game Awards 2025, there was a report that the next Naughty Dog blockbuster, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, will attend the ceremony, and the release date is already being set for 2026. However, that was quickly denied by insider Jeff Grubb, and as we can say right now, he was right all along.

But it doesn’t mean Naughty Dog isn’t working on the game properly. Moreover, a new Jason Schreier's report from Bloomberg claims the studio is forcing their workers to work overtime on their next IP, as you can check below:

“They’re pushing its staff to work long hours to get ready for an upcoming review of the demo by its parent company. The employees were instructed not to work more than 60 hours a week. Staff were also told to return to the office five days a week for this period, up from three previously, sending some employees scrambling to find alternative care arrangements for children and pets.”

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is a PS5 exclusive announced at The Game Awards 2024 and doesn’t have a release date yet.
