New Resident Evil Requiem Trailer Confirms Leon S. Kennedy Will Be in the Game

There was a lot of speculations and leaks that Leon S. Kennedy will appear in upcoming Resident Evil Requiem. Finally, we have an official confirmation thanks to The Game Awards 2025.

During the show, Capcom released a new trailer of Resident Evil Requiem where Leon S. Kennedy officially made his return to the franchise as you can see it below:

Trailer confirms Leon S. Kennedy will be another playable character alongside Grace Ashcroft, a brand-new protagonist for the series and the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft, from Resident Evil Outbreak. Resident Evil Requiem will allow the players to feel two different versions of gameplay, according to developers; playing for Grace will feel like it’s survivor horror while playing for Leon will be focused more for action/adventure game. It’s actually a very good step made by the developers to make the game more diverse.
