Cell to Singularity Releases Major ‘Reality Reboot’ Expansion on Mobile and PC

Computer Lunch has launched its largest update yet for Cell to Singularity, introducing the Reality Reboot expansion on Android, iOS, and PC. This massive overhaul rebuilds the game’s core systems and adds amphibian evolution paths, new progression mechanics, monthly content drops, and much more.

A Deeper Evolution Journey With New Story Paths

The Reality Reboot expansion transforms how players experience the simulation. Cell to Singularity allows players to run a universe-scale evolution model, starting from a single cell and advancing all the way to the technological singularity. With the introduction of the Reality Engine, the Primary Simulation has been rebuilt from the ground up, offering smoother progression and greater depth.

The update introduces new story routes, additional choices, and a wider variety of upgrades that encourage more strategic play. Players can now explore entirely new evolutionary branches, including amphibian life simulations, which debut with this expansion.

Fine-Tune Simulations With 200+ Upgrades

Players can customize their simulated computer to shape evolution as organisms grow increasingly complex — eventually surpassing even the number of atoms in the universe. The expansion features over 200 upgrades, allowing players to boost active gains or optimize long-term growth while idle.

The update was developed in collaboration with Danish studio Octocube Games, who helped rebuild the core systems from scratch. The revamped structure also gives players more control over when to reboot their simulations, creating a more flexible progression experience.

Computer Lunch co-founder and CEO Andrew Garrahan stated that the team spent the last year perfecting Reality Reboot to ensure it delivered the “enormous, game-changing update” fans were waiting for.

The Reality Reboot expansion is now live across all platforms. Players can download Cell to Singularity or update to the latest version via the Google Play Store or the App Store.
